The size of the design is calculated according to the cloth specifications. With Pointcarre you can draw on graph paper with square and non square grids and also work at any scale! The ability to work at any zoom level with customized grids and instant screen previews guarantees an accurate representation of the design.

Very user friendly, Pointcarre makes it quick and easy to create multiple weaves (up to 16 warps, 16 wefts). Control the floats of your fabric automatically or manually. The software comes with basic, multiple weave and yarn libraries. It is also easy to create your own structures and yarns !

To choose the structure associated to each color of the design, you can:

Open a weave from a library

Drag and drop a weave on the design

Customize a basic weave (twill, plain weave, satin)

Customize a multiple weave and describe the motion of each warp with each weft by applying basic weaves.

Once a cloth quality is set up, it is easy to drag and drop a new design onto the jacquard pattern and immediately have a new jacquard cloth.

The quality of the Pointcarre weave simulation is recognized by major textile manufacturers and converters. Simulations reduce sampling costs. We guarantee the colours you use to be the same throughout the creation and development process of your Jacquard. It is easy to create simulations using any kind of yarn (boucle, chenille, slub, twisted…). Irregular densities are taken into account when simulating.

Pointcarre gives you a complete technical sheet of the cloth that can be customized to your needs. It can also be exported to fit into your production sheet program.

The Pointcarre software interfaces with all jacquard heads, electronic punchers and paper card readers (Staübli, Bonas, Grosse, Tis, Schleicher, Actrom). We develop other interfaces upon your request.
